Child locks for cabinets, drawers and ovens
INJOOD has 4 types of child lock, each for a different place in the home. Choose by what you want to lock; if you're not sure, start with the cabinet that holds cleaning products or medicines. All locks are cash on delivery, and shipping is free on orders from EGP 500.
Which lock do you need?
| You want to lock | The right lock |
|---|---|
| Wooden kitchen cabinets and drawers, with nothing visible | Hidden magnetic locks – 4 locks + key — EGP 399 |
| The fridge, drawers, toilet lid, appliances | Multi-purpose safety strap lock – pack of 2 — EGP 179 |
| Door handles, sliding windows, double-door cabinets | Lever, window & cabinet lock – white — EGP 169 |
| The oven door and appliances | Oven & appliance safety lock – black, pack of 2 — EGP 399 |
All four are in the INJOOD kit – 7 pieces, together with the door guard, socket covers and corner guards, for EGP 1,399.
Before you buy
- No lock is 100% safe. Locks most often fail because someone forgot to lock them again, so test them yourself and make sure they lock every time.
- A lock doesn't replace moving cleaning products and medicines up high. Use both.
- The oven lock stops the door from opening, but it doesn't protect against the heat of the door's outside surface.

Frequently asked questions
Which is better for cabinets: the magnetic lock or the strap?
The hidden magnetic lock is better for wooden kitchen cabinets and drawers because it is invisible and opens only with the magnetic key, but it is harder to fit and you must keep the key and a spare. The adhesive strap is quicker to fit and suits the fridge, appliances and drawers.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
